Rylie Yeager
I was asked by a friend in my junior year of high school to make a logo for her volunteer organization. From that first “mockup” in my sketchbook, I was hooked. What started as a collection of memorable logos in my camera roll has since blossomed into a fiery passion for brand strategy and visual storytelling.
Choosing to pursue a degree in advertising was the best thing to happen to me in my time as an undergraduate at Temple University. They say branding is what people say about you when you’re not in the room, and I feel confident that my purpose is to help brands shape that narrative through strategic communication.
I knew that I wanted to turn my love for marketing and advertising into a career that changed people’s lives for the better. For two years, I had the privilege of translating my skills into my role as the GreatPhillySchools Intern at Elevate 215. Using my knowledge in marketing, social media, graphic design, and community outreach, I supported Elevate 215 in its mission to advance educational access and outcomes throughout Philadelphia. There is no greater feeling than seeing your work benefit the future of a city so near and dear to your heart.
Having graduated with a BA in Advertising in May 2025, I am honored to step into my new role as the Coordinator of Access Initiatives. Now, more than ever, I recognize the importance of providing children of all demographics with access to quality education, and I am thrilled to continue supporting Elevate 215 in alleviating Philadelphia’s educational inequities. As I navigate my newly post-grad life, I love to hunt for Philly’s best cheesesteak, explore new places, and spend time with my loved ones.
