Elevate 215 Awarded $25K Grant from the Every Voice, Every Vote Project

Elevate 215 issued the following the following statement after being awarded a $25,000 grant from the Every Voice, Every Vote project for community engagement with the aim of shaping a shared vision for school quality in Philadelphia:

“Elevate 215 is grateful to receive a $25,000 grant from the Every Voice, Every Vote coalition, led by the Lenfest Institute for Journalism. This generous support empowers us to embark on a transformative community engagement campaign, fostering a shared vision of educational excellence for Philadelphia. In a city with over 400 schools and more than 200,000 students, defining and uniting around what constitutes a quality school experience is crucial for creating cohesive and effective educational strategies.

“With this grant, we aim to galvanize educators, policymakers, community leaders, and citizens in a meaningful dialogue about the essential components of a high-quality education. By achieving a common understanding and vision, we can more effectively harness Philadelphia’s educational assets, better organize resources, ensure effective policy implementation, and create a network of exceptional schools. This initiative is a crucial step towards collectively providing every student in Philadelphia the opportunity to thrive and succeed in a dynamic, prosperous future.”
