At Elevate 215, we believe that improving the quality of Philadelphia schools starts with having strong academics, supportive environments, effective operations and talented educators. This belief comes to life through our new Schools That Inspire series on our Philly Schools Compass website, which highlights the schools shaping brighter futures for Philadelphia students.
What It Is
This series spotlights schools across Philadelphia that are making a meaningful impact on students, families and their community. By showcasing these schools, we celebrate what’s working in our schools, while also helping families better understand the wide range of education options across the city.
Once a school is selected to be featured, representatives from Elevate 215 will visit the school to capture the energy, innovation, and progress happening within its community.
From these visits, tailored content is developed for social media and in a dedicated story on the Philly Schools Compass website. Every school story highlights at least one of Elevate 215’s four key pillars of a quality school: academics, supports, operations & culture, and workforce.
Why It Matters
Schools That Inspire showcases how schools are creating the conditions for student success—and offers examples that can inform and inspire others. The goal is to provide an opportunity for greater connection and knowledge-sharing across communities, allowing families to make informed school choices and inspiring school leaders to explore innovative approaches to student learning.
