Kate Braemer

A deep commitment to Philadelphia and to strengthening educational opportunity anchors Kate’s work. Born and raised in the city, Kate brings experience in fundraising, donor relations, and event strategy, with a focus on building strong relationships and sustainable philanthropic systems that support mission-driven organizations.

Prior to joining Elevate 215, Kate managed major gifts and donor engagement for a multi-million-dollar campaign at the Chewonki Foundation and led special events and leadership giving efforts at Salus University. She has also served as a board member for local education-focused organizations, supporting fundraising and governance efforts that advance educational access and community impact across Philadelphia.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Colby College and her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from La Salle University. She is excited to contribute her experience and local roots to Elevate 215’s work in strengthening systems that support Philadelphia’s schools, students, and families.
